hi~
i am py, currently a gloomy hikikomori.
i casually explore and research random stuff. sometimes i write things down. updates are rare because i’m lazy.
i can be kinda stupid and naive. don’t expect too much.

your browser is blocking javascript. fair. the modern web is mostly tracking and noise, and "no by default" is a reasonable response.
but this site, regrettably, needs js for the things that make it itself. the starfield in the background. posts fading in. the letterbox where strangers leave anonymous notes. without it, you're staring at a black void with no stars and no text. which, sure, is on-brand for the place, but probably not what you came for.
nothing here sells anything. there's one analytics ping you can block at the network level and the site still works fine. that's the whole story.
i'm not going to argue you out of your settings. your tab, your rules. if you'd like to read what i wrote, turn js on for py233.net and refresh. otherwise, close it. no hard feelings either way.

dark reader is great in general. it lets the rest of the internet, built by people who insisted on white backgrounds in 2026, be tolerable at 2am. respect.
but this corner is already, deliberately, pitch black. it has been from the first commit. there is no light mode to defend against here. the stars in the background are supposed to be there. the muted greens and purples in the callouts were picked one at a time.
dark reader is currently layering its own filter on top of mine, which means you're not reading what i wrote. you're reading dark reader's reinterpretation of it. the colors are off, the contrast is off, the photos look wrong. double dark just goes muddy.
not a real problem in the grand scheme. just ruins the one small thing i care about, which is how this place is supposed to feel.
if you can spare 10 seconds: open the dark reader popup, find "site list", add py233.net to ignored, then refresh. you'll see what i made.
if not, close the tab. no hard feelings.
